Wayne Earl Fisher, 82, of rural Camden, passed away at his home, Sunday-August 28, 2022, at 2:15pm, surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 10, 1940, in Modesto, CA, to the late Earl Robert & Doris Filbrun Fisher. His marriage was to Carolyn Silvers in Quinter, KS, on October 10, 1959, and she survives. He was a 1958 graduate of Modesto High School, in California. Wayne was a self-employed carpenter and drywall contractor for many years, before retiring. He was a member of the Deer Creek Old German Baptist Brethren Church near Camden. He was baptized on September 21, 1958, by his uncle Howard Oyler, in the West Modesto District of the Old German Baptist Brethren Church. Dad and mother were installed to the Deacon's Office in the Tuolomne District on January 13, 1968. The family moved to Indiana from California in July of 1973. Surviving: wife-Carolyn Fisher of Camden, daughter-Lori & Kevin Jacobs of Flora, son-Kevin & Teresa Fisher of Flora, daughter-Lisa & Denny Kuns of Camden, son-Kendall Fisher of Camden, son-Kurt & Donetta Fisher of Lafayette, brother-Keith & Shirley Fisher of Camden, sister & brother-in-law-Joan & Fred Benedict of Flora, brother-in-law-Chris Silvers of California, 15 grandchildren & 28 great grandchildren survive. Preceded in death by a daughter Linda Fisher, grandson Seth Jacobs, granddaughter Melanie Kuns, & his mother & father-in-law Annie & Arthur Silvers. Services: Wayne's visitation will be Wednesday from 1pm to 5pm & 6pm to 8pm at the Deer Creek Old German Baptist Church, 3288 N. SR 75, Camden, IN 46917. His funeral service will be Thursday at 10:00am at the church, with home brethren officiating.
