Tommy L. Hurley, 67, of rural Delphi, passed away at his home at 2:22am, on Sunday-June 14, 2026, with his loving wife by his side. Tommy was born on May 31, 1959, in Heidelberg, Germany, to the late Donald & Elvira Wust Hurley. Tommy married April E. Blount, in Sevierville, TN, on September 14, 2013, and she survives. He graduated in 1977 from Southwood High School in Wabash. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving from December 1980 until his honorable discharge as an E-4 in January 1987, where he was a light wheel vehicle mechanic. He was a truck driver for 38 years, lastly for Buds Ent., in Lafayette. He also was a co-owner of Wheels of Hope Store in Delphi, offering free goods and donated items to those in need. He was a member of the Pittsburg Community Church. He enjoyed RC cars, auto mechanics, NASCAR, the late driver Dale Sr., collecting hot wheel cars, and his beloved cat Willow Jayne. Surviving: wife-April E. Hurley of Delphi, daughter-Vivian Bartlett of OK, son JP Zopp of Lafayette, son-Steven & Tiffany Hurley of Idaville, daughter-Abigail Zopp of Kokomo, daughter-Lyndze Zopp of Delphi, son-Bobby Hurley & Destiny Wargo of Monticello, son-Jacob Zopp of Delphi, son-Nicholas Zopp & Christina Pettiner of Delphi, brother-Roger & Phyllis Hurley of Reynolds, mother-in-law-Mary Blount of Delphi. 9 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren survive. Preceded in death by an inf. brother Donald Jr. Services: A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday-June 21, 2026, from 2pm until 5pm, at the Delphi Community Center, 311 N. Washington, St., Delphi, IN 46923. Memorial contributions may be made to Wheels of Hope Store, 1100 N. Washington St., Delphi, IN 46923.
