Silas G. Ward, 90, of Delphi, passed away Wednesday-September 29, 2021 at 10:12pm at White Oak Health Campus in Monticello. He was born August 15, 1931 in Wolcott to the late Charles & Pearl Humphrey Ward. Silas was a 1949 graduate of Camden High School. He owned and operated a semi, and specialized in hauling steel and grain for several years, before retiring. He enjoyed watching basketball. He appreciated the simple life, and lived in the country, and enjoyed the peacefulness it brings. Surviving: sons-Silas Kevin Ward of Delphi, Brian Keith Ward of Athens, TN; grandson-David Silas Ward (sp. Jennifer), Dr. Ryan Dale Ward (sp. Dr. Andrea); great grandchildren-Abbey Rose & Jon David Ward, Gwenith, Miriam, Contessa Anne, and Constance Joy Ward. Preceded in death by a sister Meredith; brother's Charles, Kenny, Jim, Raymond, and their little brother Buddy Ward. There will be no service.
