Sharon Rose Steele Sheagley, 69, of Burlington, passed away Wednesday-October 26, 2022, at 1:43am, at Ascencion St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She had been a patient there for 3 weeks, and in ill health the past 2 months. She was born August 3, 1953, in Sullivan, to the late William & Freda Harrison Steele. Her marriage was to Donald "Don" Sheagley, and he survives. She attended Kokomo High School. She was a homemaker and worked in different manufacturing jobs in the aera. She enjoyed crafts, woodworking, and carpentry. She remodeled her home and built her enclosed porch and deck all by herself. She loved to create things and tackle projects by researching and educating herself on how to do it. She loved camping and being outdoors'. She dearly loved her family and grandchildren, and spending time with them. Surviving: Husband-Donald "Don" Sheagley of Burlington, daughter-Alisa & Chad Jacobs of Delphi, son-Jerry Lee & Roxanne Lewis of Bunker Hill, son-Austin S. Sheagley of Rochester, daughter-Kayla S. Sheagley of New Orleans, LA, great nephew whom she raised-Zechariah I. Steele of Burlington, 7 brothers: James & Shelia Steele of Indianapolis, Fred Steele of Kokomo, Michael Steele of Noblesville, David Steele of Kokomo, Robert Steele of Dayton, Danny Steele & Charles Steele both of Kokomo, sister-Debbie Booth of Georgia, step children: Heather Sheagley, Paula Sheagley, & Donald "Donnie" Sheagley. 12 grandchildren & 9 step grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren & step great grandchildren survive. Preceded in death by 2 brothers John & Ronald, a sister Naomi. Services: The family will receive friends on Monday from 4pm until her celebration of life service at 6pm at Abbott Funeral Home, Inc., Delphi. Pastor Stewart Rose officiating.
