Sharon K. Lauderdale Wilson, 69, of rural Lafayette, passed away Thursday-July 13, 2023, at 11:31pm, at her home, after a brief battle with cancer. She was born August 1, 1953, in Lafayette, to the late Gaylon & Betty Clawson Lauderdale. She married Dennis R. Wilson in Delphi, on December 8, 1973, and he preceded her in death on April 15, 2020. Sharon graduated from Delphi High School in 1971 and was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing card games with her family, watching her favorite movies on the Hallmark channel, bowling with her family, and music. She and her husband loved to have their children and grandchildren over to be outside and set around their firepit, laughing and telling stories. Her family was everything to her, and she dearly loved them all. Being together at her house for any occasion, always brought a big smile to her face. Surviving: twin sons-Jason R. Wilson & fiancé Jamie Elliott of Delphi, Jamie & Michelle Wilson of Shelbyville, grandchildren: Ava, Lyla, & Ayden Wilson, step grandchildren: Irelynd Elliott Holscher, Keygan Elliott, & Libby Elliott. She was preceded in death by an infant son Jared and an infant daughter Amy, and a brother Steve. Services: A graveside service will be held Tuesday-July 18, 2023, at 11:00am, at Zion Cemetery, rural Flora. Rev. Tim Stewart officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Carroll Co.
