Roger L. "Crackerjack" Reneau, 66, of Burlington, died Mon.-Apr. 27, 2015 at 5:20am, in his home, surrounded by his loving wife and children. He was born Feb. 14, 1949 in Albany, KY, to the late Arnold & Lavel Jane Cooper Reneau. He married his high school sweetheart and the love of his life, Vicki Delrymple, and she survives. He is also survived by 5 children: Joseph (Karlene) Reneau of Camden;Troy (Ashli) Reneau of Burlington; Tammy (Chris) Crum of Lafayette; Thomas (Erica) Reneau of Delphi; & Michelle (Aaron) Sheagley of Flora. 15 grandchildren: Jaden Reneau, Tori, Cooper & Carson Crum, Kayci, Alayna & Dominyk Reneau, Madison, Jillian, Gracie, Rehgan & Katie Reneau, Mason, Mackenzie & Abrielle Sheagley; 2 bonus grandson's-Jordan Long, & Will Speakman; sister-Kathy (Bob) Grider of Lafayette. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 1967 and served 1 tour of duty in Vietnam with the 3rd Division 8th Engineering Brigade. He worked for Yeager & Sullivan/Hog Slat near Camden, for 35 years as a semi truck driver, delivering feed. He also worked seasonally for Carl Robeson farms. He enjoyed family vacations, golfing, riding his Harley, NASCAR, and was a life long Dallas Cowboys fan. Roger was a member of the Faith Church of Christ in Burlington, the Burlington American Legion Post 414. He was a past president of the Burlington Community Club. He was welcomed into Heaven by his parents, 2 grandsons-Garrett Tyler & Landen Spencer Reneau; 2 sisters Ruby Brown & Gwen Brown. Friends may call Thursday from 4-8pm, and 1 hour prior to his funeral at the Faith Church of Christ in Burlington. Funeral service there Friday at 11am, Pastor Steve Cole officiating. Burial at Burlington Cemetery. Military Rites provided by the Burlington American Legion & the Marine Corp League, Michael Walters Detachment #1411.
