Richard W. "Dick" Daniels, 72, of Delphi, died Tuesday-Dec 18, 2018 at 9:20am, at St. Elizabeth East Hospital, Lafayette, after a battle with cancer. He was born Feb 8, 1946 in Lafayette, to the late Raymond & Mary Maxine Smoker Daniels. His marriage was to Carol A. Hunt at her parents home on the Tippecanoe River, on July 18, 1965, and she survives. He attended Delphi High School. He worked at the former Peters-Revington Furniture Factory in Delphi for 35 years, retiring in 2004. He then worked for the City of Delphi Street Dept for 7 years, retiring in 2011. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, his favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt Sr. He enjoyed his neighborhood and the gatherings they would have. He loved his family and his grandchildren. Surviving: wife-Carol A. Daniels of Delphi; sons-Richard D. "Rick" Daniels and Jason S. Daniels both of Delphi. Grandchildren: Alexis Cripe, Dakota D. Daniels, Blake Brown.
