Ray A. Brumbaugh, 79, of Logansport, passed away unexpectedly Saturday-November 18, 2023, at 9pm, at his home in Logansport. He was born December 30, 1943, in Bradford, OH, to the late Owen & Martha F. Lavy Brumbaugh. His marriage was to Bonnie A. Flory, on her parent's farm near Rockfield in Carroll County, on September 21, 1962, having celebrated their 61st anniversary. Ray attended school near Bradford, OH. Ray and his wife owned and operated Brumbaugh Construction for many years, building new homes side by side, and when their kids were old enough, they helped too. Ray also liked to buy & sell cars and ran that business for several years. Ray enjoyed listening to classic country music, gospel, and blue grass. He and his wife wintered in Florida for a few years, then wintering in Arizona for many years. He always looked forward to his hunting trips out West, for Mule Deer, & Elk. Ray's greatest love was for his wife and children, grand & great grandchildren. He dearly loved them all and enjoyed being together for any occasion. Surviving: wife-Bonnie A. Brumbaugh of Logansport, son-Arlin W. Brumbaugh of Logansport, son-Donnie A. Brumbaugh of Logansport, daughter-Arlene K. Long of Logansport, brother-Ralph & Phyllis Brumbaugh of Greenville, OH, sister-Ruth E. Grover of Hagerstown, MD. 9 grandchildren & 9 great grandchildren survive. Preceded in death by a brother Lloyd, 2 sister's Joan & Doris. Services: Visitation will be Sunday from 4pm to 8pm at Abbott Funeral Home, Inc., Delphi. His funeral service will be Monday at 11am there, with viewing 1 hour prior to the funeral. Pastor Mike Williams officiating. Burial at Wise Cemetery near Camden.
