Obituary

Pearl C. Hayden Pufahl, 73, of Fowler, formerly of Delphi, passed away Monday-March 29, 2021 at 11:25pm at Green Hill Manor in Fowler, where she has resided for the past 2 years. She was born Nov 24, 1947 in Lafayette to the late Lewis & Bessie Newbury Hayden. She attended the former Pittsburg School. She had worked at the Indiana Ribbon Factory in Wolcott, and a laundry mat and restaurant in Monon. She also babysat children in her home for many years. She enjoyed mushroom hunting, putting jigsaw puzzles together, crafts, and watching her daytime soap opera's. She dearly loved her family and grandchildren, and spending time with them. Surviving: daughters-Shirley & William Hoaks of Morocco, Christina & Ron Cox of Rensselaer; grandchildren: Tiffany Ricardez, Tyler Ricardez, Ryan Ricardez, Walter Cox, Nicole Hoaks, Sarah Hoaks, Ashley Cox, & Ronald Cox Jr. 7 great grandchildren survive, many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by 7 brother's John, Butch, Tom, George, Sam, Terry & Larry; 2 sister's Dixie & Betty. Services: Visitation will be Monday from 4pm until her funeral service at 6pm at Abbott Funeral Home, Inc., Delphi. Pastor Jeremiah Page officiating. Private family interment.
