Nathan Anthony "Nate" Rossi, 21, passed away Thursday-January 15, 2026. Nate was born on September 18, 2004, in Hammond, to Albert "Al" & Denise McFarland Rossi, and they survive. Nate graduated from Delphi Community High School in 2023. He was currently a junior at Purdue University in West Lafayette, studying graphic design. Nate was baptized at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Schererville, had his 1st communion at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in West Lafayette, and was confirmed at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Delphi. He loved music and playing his guitar, video games, and photography. He enjoyed family trips to Disney, especially Galaxy's Edge, which was his favorite. Nate loved animals, especially his beloved dog Teddy. Nathan was a beautiful soul and would light up any room he entered with his smile and free-spirited nature. He liked the simple things life had to offer him. Just being around those closest to him, walking his dog, being outside in nature. He dearly loved his mom and dad and his sister. They were his life, and he cherished all the time they spent together. Surviving: parents-Al & Denise Rossi of Delphi, sister-Cynthia F. Rossi of Delphi, maternal grandma-Carol McFarland of Lansing, IL, uncles: Rick & Amy McFarland of Cedar Lake, Geoff & Christy McFarland of Cedar Lake, Bill & Tina McFarland of Griffith, cousins: Lily, Kennedy, Megan, Geoffrey McFarland, & Rylie Weber. Preceded in death by his infant twin brother Nicholas Andrew Rossi. The visitation will be Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm at the Delphi Methodist Church, 1796 N. US 421, Delphi, IN. Private family funeral service will take place. Rev. Todd Ladd & Fr. David Buckles officiating. Private family interment.
