Naomi M. Nimmins McKay, 93, of Delphi, passed away-Wednesday-May 25, 2022, at 4:40pm, at St. Anthony Healthcare Center in Lafayette. She was born February 16, 1929, in Bringhurst, to the late Robert & Maude Mockerman Nimmins. Her marriage was to Bob R. McKay in Lafayette, on September 9, 1952, and he preceded her in death on May 27, 2005. She attended high school in Flora. She was a cook for many years at the former Pittsburg Elementary School, and then she worked at the Delphi Laundromat for several years and was a homemaker. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, was an avid reader, gardening, and liked going to the Yeoman Auction. She loved raising and caring for her many pet cats. She dearly loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Surviving: daughter-Vicky S. McKay formerly of Delphi, now resides in Lafayette; son-Brad & Theresa McKay of Lafayette; grandsons Nick McKay & Sam McKay survive. She was preceded in death by two sisters Crystal & Vada.
