Mildred F. Hildebrandt Daniels, 87, of Delphi, died Sat-Jan 21, 2017 at 4:20pm at her residence. She was born Dec 22, 1929 in Delphi, to the late Earl & Faye Weaver Hildebrandt. Her marriage was to Paul R. Daniels in Indianapolis, on Feb 3, 1952, and he preceded her in death on July 1, 1989. She was a 1948 graduate of Delphi High School. She was a homemaker, and babysat for many area children in her neighborhood. She also was a in home caregiver to many local seniors as well. She was a former member of the Cottage Street Church of Christ, Delphi, where she was very active in all aspects of her church. She enjoyed cross stitching, being outdoors working in her yard, and her many flower gardens. Her greatest love was her daughter's and all of her grandchildren, and extended family and friends. Surviving: daughter's-Debra & Chad Wylie of Fort Wayne, Rita & Jim Johnson of Delphi; sister-Mary Jean Odano of Canoga Park, CA; brother-Joe & Deloris Hildebrandt of Delphi; granddaughter-Jami & Codey Walker; great grandchildren: Cami, Austin, Tyler; great great granddaughter: Piper; foster daughter-Shirley Parmeter of Logansport. Sister's in law: Jean Hildebrandt of Delphi & Phyliis Hildebrand of Lafayette.Preceded in death by sisters Joan Echler & Ruth Rhine; brothers Frank Hildebrand & Charles Hildebrandt; foster daughter Maria.
