Michael Torres, 16 of Delphi, died Sat-Feb 2, 2019 at 1:42am at Riley Hospital for Children, Indianapolis, after a 2 year battle with Leukemia. He was born Feb 18, 2002 in Kokomo, to Longino & Norma Alicia Gonzalez Torres. Michael was a Junior at Delphi Community High School. He enjoyed school and his many friends, and wanted to get well enough again to go back. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He enjoyed playing video games, and loved to listen to music. He enjoyed building things, like Lego's, and models. He enjoyed playing rec soccer with his older brothers. He loved football, especially the New England Patriots, New York Giants, and the Indianapolis Colts. He dearly loved his family and many friends. Surviving: parents-Longino & Norma Torres of Delphi; sister-Veronica Torres sp. Juan Seqovia of Delphi; brothers-Jose Torres of Logansport, Robert Torres of Delphi; maternal grandma-Rosalia Juarez of Mexico; 2 nephews, and a niece. Preceded in death by an inf. brother Jose Antonio; paternal grandparents; maternal grandpa. Services: Visitation will be held at the Delphi United Methodist Church, 1796 N US 421, Delphi, IN 46923, on Wednesday from 4pm-8pm, with a rosary at 7:45pm at the church. His funeral mass will be Thursday 1pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Delphi, Father Clayton Thompson officiating. Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Delphi.
