Merna Joyce Booth Webb, 84, of Delphi, passed away at her daughter’s home, Wednesday-June 24, 2026, at 4:37am. She was born on May 29, 1942, in Danville, IL, to the late Clarence & Jenny Wintersteen Booth. Her marriage was to Charles H. Webb Sr, in Lafayette, on June 6, 1959, and he preceded her in death on April 15, 2017. Merna attended Sunny Side Jr-Sr School near Lafayette. She worked at Purdue University as a custodian at Elliott Hall of Music for 17 years before retiring and was a homemaker. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting, playing computer games, and the Chicago Cubs. She loved her pet cats. Merna dearly loved her family and enjoyed being with them often. Surviving: daughter-Cynthia & Andrew Johnson of Delphi, son-Charles H. Webb Jr of Lafayette, son-Terry A. Webb Sr of Lafayette, son-Ron E. Webb Sr of Delphi, son-John & Esther Webb Sr of Colfax. 17 grandchildren & 34 great grandchildren survive. Preceded in death by 5 brothers & a sister.
