Merideth was a co-owner of Bassett and Talbert.  He retired from Purdue University in 1992.  He was a graduate of Camden High School.  He served in the National Guard. Merideth enjoyed his time fishing, restoring antique tractors, camping, boating and farming. Merideth was a member of the Delphi Lions Club, co-founder of the Carroll County Antique Tractor and Machinery Club, Masonic Lodge in Delphi and later in Rossville, Greater Lafayette Boat Club.  After retirement he enjoyed delivering Motor Homes across the Country and Canada.  Merideth is survived by his wife of 67 years, Arvilla.  One daughter:  Pam (Dan) Howell of Farmland, IN.  3 sons:  Mike (Pam) Burge, Steven (Rosanne) Burge of Carmel and Kirk Burge of Delphi.  Five grandchildren: Gavin, Kayla, Amanda, John and Danielle.  One brother-in-law:  Wayne Dillon of Camden.  He is preceded by a sister: Marjorie Dillon.

Friends may call Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 11 AM till the 1 PM service at Abbott Funeral Home Delphi.  Rev. Dan Gottschalk will officiate.  Burial to follow at Masonic Cemetery in Delphi.  Memorials may be given the Delphi Lions Club.  Online condolences visit www.abbottfuneralhome.com
