Maxine Delores Wright Brewer, 79, of Bringhurst, IN, passed away Wednesday-July 1, 2026, at 4:45am, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Assisted Living in Delphi. Maxine was born on November 8, 1946, in Stanley, ND, to the late Lyle & Hilda Rogstad Wright. Her marriage was to Stephen E. Brewer at the Knife River Church in Stanley, on October 24, 1968, and he survives. Maxine graduated from high school in 1946 in Stanley and received her associate degree from the Minot Business College. Maxine was a homemaker and worked as a cook at the Carroll Jr-Sr School Corporation near Flora, IN. Surviving: husband-Stephen E. Brewer of Bringhurst, son-James & Tracy Brewer of Bringhurst, son-Michael R. Brewer of Palermo, ND, son-Philip & Ashley Brewer of Denver, CO, brother-Jerry & Sue Wright of Glenwood, MN, brother-Thomas & Deb Wright of Palermo, ND. 4 granddaughters & 2 grandsons survive. Maxine was taken back to Stanley, ND, for services and burial. Abbott Funeral Home, Inc., Delphi, is assisting the family with arrangements.
