Marjorie M. Rex Draper, 82, of Delphi, died Sun.-May 22, 2016, at 1:45am, after a 2 yr. battle with cancer at her home. She was born May 1, 1934 in Carroll Co., IN, to the late Oliver & Geraldine Arnold Rex. Her marriage was to Robert D. "Bob" Draper in Delphi, on Mar. 25, 1955, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 2, 2015. She was a 1952 graduate of Delphi High School. She was the bookkeeper for Carroll County REMC for 20 years, retiring in 1996, and she previously worked at the former First Federal, then Hometown Federal Savings Bank, now First Financial Bank in Delphi. She was a member of St. Mathews Lutheran Church, Delphi. She and her husband were avid Purdue fans, and belonged to the John Purdue Gold Coat Club, having season tickets to both men's and women's basketball games for many years. She enjoyed fishing, and traveling, and was an avid reader. She dearly loved her family, and all the gatherings they had together. Surviving: daughter-Kathy J. Peterson of Delphi; son-Doug & Becky Draper of Delphi. 2 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 2 step great grandchildren. Preceded in death by a sister Judith K. Miller. Services: A graveside service will take place Saturday at 11am at Zion Citizens Cemetery, rural Carroll County. Memorial contributions may be made to the Carroll Co. Food Pantry, 11 S.
