Obituary

Margery M. Porter Watson, 90, formerly of Roth Park by Lake Freeman, died Mon.-June 1, 2015 at 7:30pm at Monticello Healthcare, where she had been a resident since May 2009. She was born Aug. 2, 1924 in Logansport, to the late Homer & Helen Hon Porter. Her marriage was to Carl E. Watson in Logansport, on Oct. 24, 1943, and he preceded her in death on Nov. 26, 1998. She was a 1942 graduate of Logansport High School. She was a homemaker, and formerly belonged to the Camden Eastern Star. She had attended the Clymers United Methodist Church, and the Yeoman United Methodist Church. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and sewing, loved to read, and enjoyed living on Lake Freeman. She and her husband wintered in Pine Island, FL, for a few years. Surviving: daughter-Nancy L. Sharp companion James Williamson of Monticello; son-John & Carolyn Watson of Burrows. 6 grandchildren & 12 great grandchildren survive. Preceded in death by a son Michael; daughter Lynn; sister Jean Hershey. Services: Friends may call Thursday from 5-8pm at Abbott Funeral Home, Inc., Delphi, funeral service there Friday 10am, Rev.
