Margery R. Bender Marler, 95, formerly of Delphi, passed away Wednesday-June 2, 2021 at 3:11pm at the former Methodist Healthcare Center in Franklin. She moved there 10 years ago to be closer to her granddaughter who helped care for her. She was born July 1, 1925 in Grayville, IL, to the late Eugene & Louise Terry Bender. Her marriage was to Raymond F. Marler on April 24, 1941, in Carmi, IL, and he preceded her in death on February 18, 1999. She retired from Mepco/Central Lab in West Lafayette on August 1, 1987 after 15 years. Prior to that she worked for Bryan's in Monticello for 17 years, a division of Essex Wire. She attended Grayville High School. She was a member of the Delphi Christian Church, and a 50 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star-Hermosa Chapter #517. She also belonged to the Gamma Gamma Nu Sorority for many years. She enjoyed crocheting and was an avid reader. She dearly loved her family, grand and great grandchildren and spending time with them and attending their school functions. Surviving: son-David R. Marler of Franklin; granddaughter-Coreliss & Rich Graves of Morgantown; 6 great grandchildren, & 7 great great grandchildren survive. Preceded in death by a grandson Jon Marler; brother Darrell and his wife Jean Bender. Services:  A graveside service will be Tuesday at 11am at IOOF Memorial Gardens in Pittsburg, Kyle Siegfried officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Camp Allendale, 4605 S.
