Linda Lee Funkhouser Mounts, 74, of rural Lafayette, passed away Tuesday-January 28, 2025, at 2:15pm, at IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette. Linda was born on July 17, 1950, in Lafayette, to the late Fay & Helen Banker Funkhouser. Her marriage was to Timothy L. Mounts in Lafayette, in 1966, and he survives. Linda attended Jeff High School. She received her Registered Nursing degree from St. Elizabeth School of Nursing, Lafayette. She then completed her Nurse Practitioners degree at Purdue University, West Lafayette. Linda worked for IU Health in Lafayette for many years in the medical and nursing field. She traveled to Hati on a mission trip to provide medical care to those in need there. She enjoyed going to car shows with her husband, and browsing antique stores, always on the lookout for that special piece. Linda's greatest love was for her family. She dearly loved them all and enjoyed being together for any occasion. Surviving: husband-Timothy L. Mounts of Lafayette, son-Dan & Christy Mounts of Monticello, son-Timothy M. Mounts of Peru, sister-Bonnie Davis of Lafayette, 4 grandchildren, and 1 great grandson survives. Preceded in death by a sister Edith. Services: Visitation will be Saturday from 11am until her funeral service at 12pm at Abbott Funeral Home, Inc., Delphi. Pastor Mary Hartman officiating. Burial will be at Battle Ground Cemetery.
