Linda M. Doerr Brewer, 72, formerly of Delphi, passed away Sunday-August 31, 2025, at 12:09am, at Creasy Springs Healthcare in Lafayette. Linda was born on July 29, 1953, in Elkhart County, IN, to her late father Carl Doerr, and her late mother Shirley A. Warren Fenner. Linda was formerly married to Greg Brewer. Linda graduated from Concord High School in 1971 and attended the International Business College in Fort Wayne. She worked for Dr. Fred Henney in Monticello in administration for several years. She previously worked at JC Penney in Lafayette and the former Dayton United Methodist Church daycare center. She had been attending Gathering Point Church in Dayton. Linda enjoyed sewing and quilting. She was a former Girl Scout Leader and was instrumental in helping start the White County Food Pantry. Linda enjoyed all kinds of music, especially country music. She loved her 2 cats Harry & Hermione. Linda's greatest love was for her family and grandchildren. She loved family game night, playing cards and dice. She loved to attend her grandchildren's sporting and school functions. They were her life. Surviving: son-Aaron Brewer of Lafayette, daughter-Jessica & Jeff Spangler of Delphi, daughter-Chrissy L. Mullin of West Lafayette, grandchildren: Julia Spangler, Colt Spangler, Ethan Mullin, Chase Mullin, Josiah Brewer, & Jordan Brewer. Sister-Kathy Doerr of Toledo, OH, mother-in-law-Maxine Brewer of Monticello. Preceded in death by a sister Carlene Lopez. Services: Visitation will be Sunday from 3pm until her funeral service at 5pm at Abbott Funeral Home, Inc., Delphi. Pastor Eric Schneider officiating. Private family interment.
