Laurie Jean Fieleke Schnepp, 58, of Delphi, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Delphi, on Wednesday-June 16, 2021, at 9:23pm. She was born to the late Walter A. "Sonny" & Alice N. Welker Fieleke. She married her high school sweetheart, after reuniting with him after several years, Dennis B. "Dent" Schnepp in Decatur, IN, on September 26, 1997, and he passed away on August 2, 2015. She attended Harrison High School, and later received her GED. She and her late husband were team drivers with JB Hunt Trucking, and traveled all over the United States together. She was baptized and raised in the First Baptist Church of Delphi. She enjoyed raising a big garden, and planted many flower gardens around her home. She loved watching hummingbirds, mushroom hunting, and just being outside. She enjoyed camping and fishing with her family. She loved to color and draw, and enjoyed rooting for the Indianapolis Colts, and IU basketball team. She dearly loved her family and grandchildren, and spending time with them. That was her greatest joy in life. Surviving-daughters: Jessica K. Fieleke & Brian "Wally" Wallace of Colburn, Crystal & James "Jim" Robinson of Oxford, and Sarina J. Terry & Alex Hall of Lafayette; son-Nick & Amber Terry of Lafayette; sisters-Michelle & Alan Girton of Monticello, and Melissa K. Fieleke of West Lafayette; brothers-Bruce & Candy Fieleke of Lafayette, and Brian & Nancy Fieleke of Gainesville, FL; 10 grandchildren: Collin, Alex, Anthony, Brielle, Braxton, Taylar, Gavin, Gage, Landon, and Emma. Services: visitation will be Monday from 4pm to 7pm at Abbott Funeral Home, Inc., Delphi. Her funeral service will be there Tuesday at 11am, Rev. William Glenn officiating. Burial at Colburn EUB Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Association, envelopes available at the funeral home.
