Kent E. Christian, 60, of rural Camden, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday-August 30, 2022, at 3:39pm, at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, after a brief illness. He was born August 28, 1962, in Elmhurst, IL, to the late B. George Christian and his surviving mother Alice J. Vette Christian. He was a 1981 graduate of Willowbrook High School in Villa Park, IL.  Kent worked at Purdue University for 10 years in the maintenance department, and for Lafayette Travel Trailer, doing repair work. For the last 10 years he has worked as a farm hand for Maxwell Farms near Delphi. Kent loved to hunt and fish, and just being outdoors. He enjoyed firing up his grill for a barbeque and loved to cook. He dearly loved his family and spending time with them and his grandchildren. Surviving: daughter-Amanda & David Maxwell of Delphi, son-Kevin & Larissa Christian of Delphi, mother-Alice J. Christian of Delphi, brother-Craig & Paula Christian of Wichita Falls, TX, grandchildren: Ian & Isla Maxwell, Payton Christian, and Kenley Christian due anytime. He was preceded in death by a sister-in-law Dianna Christian. Services: Visitation will be Wednesday September 7, from 4pm until his funeral service at 7pm at Abbott Funeral Home, Inc., Delphi. Rev.
