Kenneth Lee Grimes, 58, of Camden, passed away from complications, from injuries he sustained in a motorcycle accident in April of this year, at IU Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, Sunday-August 3, 2025, at 3:25am. He was born on November 2, 1966, in Lafayette, to the late Richard & Karen Wray Grimes. He married Amanda Bolton in Camden in September of 2007, and she preceded him in death on July 28, 2018. Kenneth was a 1984 graduate of Harrison High School and attended Ball State University. He currently worked at Arconic in Lafayette, as an inspector, for the past 29 years. He was baptized and a member of the Camden United Methodist Church. He was a member of the USW Local 115 Union. He loved movies, especially Star Wars, The Wizard of Oz, and Shirley Temple. He was an avid motorcycle rider and enjoyed cruising on his Harley. He dearly loved his family. Being with them was his greatest joy. Surviving: daughter-Tara Grimes of Bunker Hill, WV, son-Ryan Abney of Lake City, FL, son-Blaine Bolton of Camden, son-Russell Grimes of Fremont, CA, daughter-Megan Grimes of Camden, daughter-Daisey Rostron-Bolton of Flora, son-Jermiah Lorts of Sharpsville, daughter-Annabell Rheananette Kay Grimes of Camden, daughter-Madison Grimes of Camden, daughter-Ella Grimes of Camden, daughter-Serena Grimes of Camden, son-Liam Benjamin Xavier Grimes of Camden, grandchildren: Kaylee Lynn Rutherford, Makenna Dawnielle-Rose Haines, Lillianna Elizabeth Simpson, Harlee William Alan Grimes. Brother-Timothy Grimes of Lafayette. Preceded in death by a brother Russell, granddaughter Miryssa Dawn Haines. Services: Visitation will be Saturday from 11am until his funeral at 1pm at the Camden United Methodist Church. Rev. Dan Gottschalk officiating. Private family interment.
