Keith A. Brovont, 75, of Camden, died at his home Wednesday-Dec 5, 2018, after a short battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 20, 1943 in Cass County, to the late Paul & Ruth Crook Brovont. His 1st marriage was to Mary Margaret Long in Pyrmont, on July 14, 1962, and she preceded him in death on Sept 22, 2010. He then married Etta Long Lehman in Rossville, on Dec 10, 2011, and she survives. He was a 1962 graduate of Camden High School. He worked for over 30 years building grain bins in Northern Indiana, and surrounding counties, retiring in 2016. He was a member of the Deer Creek Old German Baptist Brethren Church near Camden. He enjoyed woodworking, craft shows, tractor shows, and his antique tractors, especially the orange ones. He and his wife enjoyed traveling. He loved to spend time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. Surviving with his wife Etta, his children: DeAnna (Jeff) Sieber, Gail Brovont & Mary Giddens, Tracey (Cathy) Brovont, Teresa (Rodney) Hensley Jr, all of Camden, Cynthia Clark of Kokomo, Wanda (Stan) Campbell of Monticello. Stepchildren: Rebecca (Mike) Hutton of Monticello, Cheryl West, and Carol Clingerman both of Rossville. Brother-George (Elaine) Brovont of Michigantown, sister-Kathryn (Gene) Mellinger of Rossville. 26 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by 2 brothers Karl Brovont & Kenneth Brovont Sr; stepson Ronnie Lehman; daughter in law Laura Brovont; son in law Richard Clark. Services: Friends may call Friday from 3pm-8pm at Abbott Funeral Home, Inc., Delphi. Funeral service Saturday 10am at the Deer Creek Old German Baptist Brethren Church, Camden.
