Kathryn Randle Myer, 89, of Delphi, formerly of Lake Freeman, died Mon.-Aug. 10, 2015 at 12:45am at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Center in Delphi. She had been a resident there for the past 6 1/2 years. She was born Feb. 3, 1926 in Carroll County, IN, to the late Henry & Rose Ellen Simons Randle. Her marriage was to Vern G. Myer in Delphi, on Oct. 16, 1965, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 11, 2009. She graduated from Adams Township High School in 1944. She was a homemaker, and helped her husband on their farm. She had worked at the Welcome Inn Restaurant and the Specialty Shop both in Delphi for several years. She was a member of the Oak Grove Christian Church, rural Monticello. She participated in Home Ec. She and her husband wintered for 25 years in Bonita Springs, FL. She enjoyed needle work, quilting, and enjoyed living on Lake Freeman, and boating. Surviving: daughters-Sandra & John Aldrich of Delphi, Linda & Bill Waggoner of Kokomo; sister-Thelma Peterson of Delphi; grandchildren: Kim Isley, Eric Isley, Todd Waggoner, Brock Aldrich, Kelti Aldrich; great grandchildren: Ariel Isley-Aldrich, fiancé JD Huffer, Tristin & Madyson Isley, Hannah & Chloe Ratcliff, Dillion Waggoner. Preceded in death by 4 brothers & 6 sisters. Services: Friends may call Wednesday 5-8pm at Abbott Funeral Home, Inc., Delphi, service there Thursday 11am, Rev. Ed Selvidge officiating.
