Kathryn E. Freeman, 59, of rural Camden, died Sat.-May 30, 2015 at 8:53pm at her residence after a battle with cancer. She was born Oct. 12, 1955 in Kokomo, to the late Rex & Marcella Harrison Conner. Her marriage was to Murray A. Freeman at their home near Camden on Sept. 3, 2011, and he survives. She graduated from Hayworth High School in Kokomo in 1973. She worked for over 20 years at the former Peters-Revington Furniture Factory in Delphi. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, and she dearly loved her family. They were her life. Surviving: husband-Murray A. Freeman of Camden; daughter-Jessie Shay fiancé Kevin Castillo of Logansport; son-Bradley W. Shay of Camden; sister-Bernadine Febbo of Defiance, OH; preceded in death by 2 brothers Rex & Robert. A granddaughter Emelynn Starks survives. Services: Friends may call Tuesday from 5-8pm at Abbott Funeral Home, Inc., Delphi.
