John R. Geier, 85, of rural Delphi, passed away at his home on Thursday-June 22, 2023, at 7:55pm, after a 6 month battle with cancer. He was born June 11, 1938, in Reynolds, to the late Gerald & Stella Bell Geier. His marriage was to Judith K. Curbox in White Co., IN, on August 19, 1960, and she preceded him in death on March 14, 2018. He attended Twin Lakes Schools, and was a U.S. Marine, serving from 1956 to 1958. John farmed and raised livestock. He enjoyed dealing and trading in tractors and farm equipment. He worked hard around his farm and enjoyed the simple pleasures of country living. Surviving: daughter-Julie Warfel of Brookston, son-Jess & Autumn Geier of rural Delphi. 6 grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren survive. 2 brothers survive: Charles Geier & Bill Geier of Monticello. He was preceded in death by a son John Geier Jr. There will be no services.
