Jesus Manuel Olivas, 66, of Delphi, passed away Saturday-July 29, 2023, at 3:08pm, in Delphi. He was born on August 5, 1956, in El Sauz, Chihuahua, Mexico, to the late Manuel & Soledad Portillo Olivas. His marriage was to Rosa Ofelia Meraz, in Chihuahua, on April 29, 1977, and she survives. He graduated high school and had worked at Wabash National in Lafayette for many years. He was baptized in the protestant faith and was a Christian and had attended a church in Frankfort.  He enjoyed music, and could play the guitar & piano, and enjoyed singing in church. He loved to travel and went to AZ many times to see his family. He dearly loved his family and enjoyed being with them for any occasion. Surviving: wife-Rosa O. Olivas of Delphi, son-Edgar Olivas of Juares, Mexico, daughter-Mayra Olivas & Edward Revera of Delphi, daughter-Joanna Olivas & Raul Mojica of Avendale, AZ, daughter-Idalia Olivas & Jesus Rosales of Phoenix, AZ, son-Jesus M. Olivas of Delphi, daughter-Susanna Olivas of Franklin., 18 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren survive. Preceded in death by 2 brother's & a sister. Services: Jesus was sent back to AZ, where a graveside service will be held Monday-August 7, 2023, at 11:00am, at Mountain Meadows Memorial Park Cemetery in Payson, AZ. Abbott Funeral Home, Inc of Delphi and Messinger Mortuary of Payson, AZ is assisting the family with arrangements.
