Jennifer A. Jenkins Humphrey, 57, of Delphi, passed away unexpectedly on Monday-March 17, 2025, at 4:30pm, at the ER, at IU Health Arnett Hospital, Lafayette. Jennifer was born on March 4, 1968, in Lafayette, to the late Charles & Joann Hammond Jenkins. Her marriage was to Timothy "Tim" Humphrey of Delphi, and he survives. She graduated from Delphi Community High School in 1986. She also attended IN Business College in Fort Wayne. Jennifer was a talented and creative homemaker. She was a gifted 4-H mom, a proud band mom, and a loyal member of PETA & ASPCA. She loved gardening, bird watching, and had a great love for art & music. With her lifelong love of animals, she was an active supporter of pet rescue organizations, shelters, and humane societies. Her passion was her dogs, particularly the German Shepherd breed. She was a member of the Whirlwind Ministries Church in Burrows. Jenn was a loving wife and mother to three children and her stepdaughter and her 4 grandchildren. She dearly loved her family. They were her life. Surviving: husband-Tim Humphrey of Delphi, son-Ryan Payne of Bringhurst, son-Eric Payne of Delphi, daughter-Mandi & Tom Walker of Kansas City, MO, stepdaughter-Shelby Humphrey of Delphi, brother-Larry & Susan Breeze of Delphi. Private family services have taken place. Memorial contributions may be made to Erica's Rescues & Humane Society, Inc.
