Janice A. Penn Collins, 80, of Camden, died unexpectedly Wednesday-March 24, 2021 at 6:00pm at her residence in Camden. She was born April 16, 1940 in Jackson Township, Carroll County, IN, to the late Lewis & Irene Cree Penn. She was a 1958 graduate of Camden High School, and attend Indiana University at Bloomington for 3 years. She worked in the accounting department at the former Klein Accountants in Lafayette for several years. She had formerly attended the Camden Baptist Church, and was a longtime board member for the Paint Creek Cemetery Association. She enjoyed raising a big garden for her family, friends, and neighbors to enjoy, and loved to plant several flower gardens around her home, and also had multiple bird feeders to take care of her little friends. She loved to listen to country music, enjoyed baking, and always up for shopping, especially for antiques. Surviving: sons-Brian & Gloria Collins of Seguin, TX, and Darren Collins of AZ; sisters-Roselyn Penn of Flora, Lou & Jerry Fincher of Logansport; sister in laws-Jane Penn of Flora, and Norma Penn of Monticello; several nieces & nephews survive, and 4 grandchildren. Preceded in death by sister's Marilyn Guckien & Phyllis Myers; brother's Dale, Gary, & Larry Penn; nephew Louis Penn; sister in law Linda Penn. Services: A graveside service will be held Wednesday-March 31, 2021 at 11:00am at Paint Creek Cemetery, Camden. Rev. Ed Selvidge will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Paint Creek Cemetery Association.
