Obituary

James L. "Jim" Jacot, 69, of Delphi, died Tues.-Mar. 17, 2015 at 7:50pm at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. He had been in poor health the past year. He was born Nov. 5, 1945 in Lafayette, to the late Russell & Emma Sonafrank Jacot. His marriage was to Karen K. Fogelsong in Rossville, on July 12, 1964, and she survives. He was a 1963 graduate of East Tipp High School. He worked for 40 years at Globe Valve in Delphi, then for 3 years at Fairfield Manufacturing, Lafayette. He was a member of the Delphi Wesleyan Church. He enjoyed NASCAR, driver Tony Stewart, woodworking, fishing, and collecting Coke memorabilia. He dearly loved his wife, daughter & son in law, son & daughter in law, and his two very special grandsons, other family members, and many friends. Surviving: wife-Karen K. Jacot of Delphi; daughter-Cindy & John Benner of Delphi; son-Jeff & Elaina Jacot of Delphi; two grandsons: Michael Benner & Bradley Jacot; cousin: Carol & Dan Parmelee of Lafayette. Services: Friends may call Friday from 5-8pm at Abbott Funeral Home Inc., Delphi, funeral service there Saturday 10am, Pastor Dan Fisher officiating. Burial at Pyrmont Cemetery, Pyrmont.
