Ivadine U. Harrell Garrison Owens, 89, of Delphi, died Friday-Oct 26, 2018 at 8:25pm at her daughter Tonya's home, after a brief illness. She was born July 24, 1929 in Lagro, IN, to the late Frank & Mildred Bailey Harrell. Her first marriage was to Jerry E. Garrison in Nappanee, on Dec 25, 1949, and he died Dec 29, 1968. She then married Kenneth L. Owens in Yeoman, on Dec 30, 1977, and he preceded her in death on Mar 17, 2009. She lived for 30 years in Forrest Park, North Fort Myers, FL. She moved back to Delphi in July of this year. She was a homemaker, and also worked at Oakdale Inn. She was a 1947 graduate of Lagro High School. She was a former member of both the Delphi United Methodist Church and the Yeoman United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing BINGO, was an avid euchre card game player, loved to knit, and enjoyed cooking for her family. She dearly loved her children and grand & great grandchildren. They were her life. Surviving: daughters-Lucinda "Cindy" Garrison of Danville, IN, Melanee Garrison of Las Vegas, NV, Constance & Steve Lamb of Royal Center, Tonya & Randy Lake of Delphi; son-Frank & Liz Garrison of Las Vegas, NV; stepchildren: Patty & Joe Parton of Holladay, UT, Ralph & Nadine Owens of Kokomo, Bill Owens of Jeffersonville. 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by a sister Betty Shoemaker. Services: The family will receive friends on Saturday Nov 3, 2018 from 11am until her memorial service at 1pm at Abbott Funeral Home, Inc., Delphi.
