Obituary

Harry E. “Ed” Snowberger II, of Monon, went home to be with Jesus, on Friday-June 12, 2026, at 10:13am, at his residence. He was born in Monticello, on January 27, 1962, to the late Harry E. & Dorothy Moore Snowberger. His marriage was to Melonie Kay Jones, in Logansport, on July 27, 1985, and she survives. He graduated from Twin Lakes High School in 1980. He formerly worked at Caterpillar, Lafayette plant in maintenance for a few years, at Indiana Beach in maintenance for over 10 years, and at Monon Trailer (now Vanguard) for several years, earning certificates in computer programming & machining. He and his wife attended the Wolcott Christian Church. He was actively involved in Kairos Prison Ministry at the Westville Prison. He was a member of the Brookston Lions Club, Lafayette Great Banquet, and the Monticello Masonic Lodge. He was an avid woodworker, enjoyed fishing & hunting, mowing his yard, and his beloved dog Olive. He dearly loved his family and being with them all for any occasion. Surviving: wife-Kay Snowberger of Monon, daughter-Samantha Snowberger of Monon, son-Marcus & Krystle Snowberger of Delphi, sister-Mitzi Felix of Greenfield, sister-Barbara & Tom Weaver of Goshen, sister-Wanda Wright of Lafayette. 3 grandchildren survive. Preceded in death by a brother, and a brother-in-law. A Celebration of Life Service will take place at a later date and time to be announced. Abbott Funeral Home Inc., Delphi, is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Kairos Westville Prison Ministry in memory of Ed Snowberger.
