Harlin R. Webb, 61, of rural Monticello, died Mon.-June 8, 2015 at 8:30am at IU Health Arnett Hospital-Laf. He had been in ill health the past 8 months. He was born Oct. 26, 1953 in La Junta, CO, to Bill & Dorothy Baker Webb, who survive and live in Buchanan, MI. His marriage was to Debra S. Layer in Delphi, on Oct. 3, 1981, and she survives. He worked at the former Briggs Manufacturing in Flora for 17 years. He graduated from Buchanan High School in 1974 in Buchanan, MI. He was a member of the Arkansas National Guard. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and the many camping trips they went on. He loved to fish, boat, and outdoor activities. Surviving: wife-Debra S. Webb of Monticello; sons-Barton & Jennifer Webb of Delphi, and Jason W. Webb & Megan Mitchell of Monticello; daughter-Jennifer Webb of Niles, MI; parents-Bill & Dorothy Webb of Buchanan, MI; sisters-Debra & Bill Upton of Buchanan, MI, Angel & Jesse Kelems of Niles, MI; brothers-David & Leesa Webb of TN, Billy R. Webb of Bloomington, IL; 4 grandchildren & several nieces & nephews survive. Preceded in death by a daughter Lisa Webb. Services: Friends may call Thursday from 10am until his funeral service at 12pm at Abbott Funeral Home, Inc., Delphi. Chaplin Virgil Barker will officiate, burial at Yeoman Cemetery.
