Everette William "Bill" Kyles, 74, of Delphi, passed away Friday-November 1, 2024, at 6:28pm, at his home, after a battle with cancer. Bill was born January 16, 1950, in Salisbury, NC, to the late Marvin & Armie Pruitt Kyles. His marriage was to Brenda J. Harmon, in Meridian, MS, on November 9, 1974, and she survives. Bill graduated from North Rowan High School in 1968, in Spencer, NC, and received his BS in accounting & finance from Mississippi State University in 1983. Bill's first job was with Comcast Cable for 10 years, as a South-Central Regional VP in finance & administration. He then worked for Maples Gas as CFO for a few years, and finally at Clear Span Components as CFO and materials purchaser for 17 years, all 3 in Meridian, MS. He and his wife moved from Meridian, MS, to Delphi in October of 2017. Bill was a U.S. Airforce Veteran, serving for 6 years, stationed in Montgomery, AL, the Philippines, and NC, honorably discharged as a Staff Sargent. While living in MS, they attended the Four Square Gospel Church and the 1st Assembly of God Church in Meridian, and while living in Delphi, they attended the 1st Assembly of God Church in Pittsburg. Bill enjoyed bass fishing, gardening and yard work. He was a strong man of faith and had a deep seeded connection to his Lord and Savior. Bill dearly loved his family, and was a loving father and grandfather, and devoted husband to his wife. Surviving: wife-Brenda J. Kyles of Delphi, daughter-Karen & Danny Crum of Sumrall, MS, daughter-Emily & Scott Vanderwall of Rossville, daughter-Rev. Lindsey & Rev. Jesse Fletcher of Ellicott City, MD, grandchildren: Charlie, Luci, & Julia Leffler, Noah, Vincent, & Victoria Vanderwall, Hannah, Naomi, Gabrielle, Jael Fletcher. Preceded in death by 2 brothers Marvin & James, a sister Daisey. Services: Visitation will be Thursday from 10am until his funeral service at 11am at Abbott Funeral Home, Inc., Delphi. Rev.
