Emma M. Morris Smith, 88, of Camden, died Mon-Nov 28, 2016 at 3:10pm at St Elizabeth Healthcare Center, Delphi. She had been a resident there since Nov 8. She was born Apr 20, 1928 in Camden, to the late James & Phoeba Flora Morris. Her marriage was Elmer Smith in Camden, on Dec 12, 1972, and he preceded her in death on Dec 19, 1982. She attended the former Carrollton High School. She was a home caregiver to many elderly area residents for many years. She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Logansport. She enjoyed her pet Parakeet birds, and was an animal lover in general. Surviving: sister-Mary E. Lavy of Camden; nieces & nephews. Preceded by 1 brother, a half brother, a half sister.
