Edward L. "Ed" Wyrick, 71, of rural Cutler, died unexpectedly Monday-April 9, 2018 at 11:43am at his home. He was born Oct 30, 1946 in Chicago, IL, to the late Earl & Martha DeFord Wyrick. His marriage was to Sue A. Butler in Kokomo on Sept 10, 1965 and she survives. He was a 1965 graduate of Kokomo High School. He worked at Chrysler Corp Transmission Plant in Kokomo for 30 years. He was a former Galveston Volunteer Fireman & First Responder for many years, belonged to the Local #685 UAW, and was a 32nd degree Mason at the Walton Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed racing in figure 8 car races at the Kokomo Speedway, and camping with his family. He and his wife were members of the National Campers & Hikers Assoc., for 30 years. Surviving: wife-Sue A. Butler of Cutler; daughters-Andrea & William Kelley of Delphi, Pam & Larry Smith of Mooresville; 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren. There will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc. Abbott Funeral Home, Inc., Delphi, in charge of arrangements. http://www.abbottfuneralhome.com/
