Edward Lee Floyd, 77, of Delphi, died Thursday-Aug 2, 2018, at 12:36am, at IU Health Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. He was born July 8, 1941 in Delphi to the late Edward G. Floyd, and Alice M. Thompson Mohler. He attended Delphi High School. He worked for 29 years at Purdue University, in janitorial services, retiring in 2004. He lived for 40 years in Lafayette, prior to his return to Delphi. He enjoyed watching movies, especially westerns, and playing video games. Surviving: sisters-Sharon & Fred Perez of Lafayette, Cindy & Dave Goodin of Monticello, Marsha & John Stoner of Delphi, Cindy & Barry Lawson of Arizona, Becky Floyd of Indianapolis, Karen Mohler of Logansport; brother-Mike Floyd of Florida; several nieces & nephews, brother in law Earl Ingmire of Logansport.  Preceded in death by a brother Robert Floyd, brother William Mohler, sister Kathy Ingmire, stepfather Alvin Mohler.  Services: Friends may call Thursday from 11am until his funeral at 1pm at Abbott Funeral Home, Inc., Delphi.
