Earl C. Hillary, 67, of Delphi, died Monday-Feb 25, 2019 at 1:03pm at his residence after a 9 month battle with cancer. He was born Dec 26, 1951 in Watseka, IL, to the late Howard & Katherine Cobbs Hillary. He graduated high school in 1968, and was in the U.S. Army from 1968-1972, stationed in Vietnam, an E-5 helicopter gunner, and infantryman. He was an avid Cubs fan. He dearly loved his daughters and grandchildren. Surviving: daughters-Ali & Ted Yerkes of rural Brookston, Amy Hillary & Kevin Johnson of Delphi. Grandchildren-Addison & Ashton Yerkes; a niece Meagan Hillary survives. Preceded in death by 2 brother's Eugene & Kenneth. There will be no services.
