Douglas D. Carlson, 56, of Camden, passed away unexpectedly Sunday-March 12, 2023, at 7:00pm, at his home. He was born May 19, 1966, in Lafayette, to the late Peggy A. Collins Carlson, and his father George D. Carlson, who survives. He graduated from Carroll Jr.-Sr. High School in 1984 and attended Purdue University for 1 year. He was a union electrician, working out of the IBEW Local #873 in Kokomo for over 20 years, and currently was employed at Indiana Packers Corporation of Delphi, as an electrician for the past 10 years. He was a Chicago White Sox fan and enjoyed watching college basketball & football. He enjoyed listening to audible books and liked to go camping with his family. He loved being outdoors'. He dearly loved his daughter and his family.

Surviving: daughter-Rachel M. Carlson of Camden, father-George D. Carlson of Lafayette, brother-Anthony & Carol Carlson of Camden, stepson-Alex Ward of Colorado. Services: Visitation will be Friday from 4pm to 7pm at Abbott Funeral Home, Inc., Delphi. His funeral service will be Saturday at 11am, at the funeral home, Rev. Nord Zootman officiating. Burial at Maple Lawn Cemetery in Flora. Memorial contributions may be made to the Carroll County Cancer Association.
