Dorcus J. "Dorc" Hill Howard, 78, of Delphi, passed away Friday-November 28, 2025, at 10:28pm, at IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette. She was born on June 20, 1947, in Lafayette, to the late Cleon & Louise Ping Hill. Her marriage was to Stephen J. "Steve" Howard, in Delphi, on December 24, 1971, and he preceded her in death on September 10, 2024. She attended Brookston High School and received a degree in Respiratory Therapy from Ivy Tech. She worked for 30 years as a Respiratory Therapist at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette, White County Memorial Hospital in Monticello, and at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Center in Delphi, before retiring. She enjoyed puzzles, mushroom hunting in her woods, golf cart rides, just being outdoors and going to their spot in the woods for a fire. She dearly loved her family and being together with them always put a smile on her face.

Surviving: son-Jeff & Nancy Howard of Delphi, daughter-Tamara & Michael Pechin of Lafayette, daughter-Vicki & Tim Hobbs of Lafayette. 8 grandchildren, & 15 great grandchildren survive. Preceded in death by 2 grandson's Noah Rainey & Jacob Bloom, 2 sisters Carolyn & Ada. Private family services will take place.
