Diane M. Dielmann Saldivar, 75, of Delphi, passed away Monday-December 4, 2023, at 4:08am, at Franciscan Health E. Lafayette, after a battle with cancer. She was born April 2, 1948, in Ashville, NC, to the late Henry & Jessie Corn Dielmann. Her marriage was to Arturo Saldivar, in Sterling, IL, on May 12, 1984, and he preceded her in death on October 4, 2017. She graduated in 1966 from Clyde A. Erwin High School in Ashville, NC. She attended Ivy Tech and received her BS in accounting from Cecil's Business College. She had worked at Spiegel Catalog in Ashville, NC for a few years, then for the Zenith Corp in Glenview, IL, the Household Bank International in Woodale, IL, and finally for Stuckman Salvage & Towing in Syracuse, IN.  She attended the Delphi Methodist Church. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, playing her piano, and traveling. Her favorite movie was Gone With the Wind, and she enjoyed watching Blue Blood, her favorite TV show. She dearly loved her family and the time they all spent together. Surviving: son-Phillip N. Saldivar of Warsaw, son-Arthur & Leah Saldivar of Auburn, daughter-Jennifer & Thomas Hylton of Delphi, brother-Henry & Helen Dielmann III of Weaverville, NC, sister-Janice C. Ghent of St. Joe, IN. 11 grandchildren survive. Preceded in death by a sister Judy.
A memorial service will take place on Saturday-April 20, 2024. The family will receive friends from 10am until her memorial service at 11am, at the Delphi Methodist Church, 1796 N.
