Devon R. King, 22, of South Bend, passed away Monday-January 4, 2021 at 12:47pm at Beacon Memorial Hospital in South Bend, from injuries he sustained in an automobile accident that morning. He was born July 3, 1998 to his mother Carolee J. Howard Saylor and his father Robert L. King, who both survive. He attended Niles High School in Niles, MI, and received his GED in 2020. He currently worked for THOR Motor Coach in Elkhart. Devon enjoyed listening to music and loved to play his guitar. He liked Harley Davidson motorcycles, and enjoyed watching NFL & MLB sports. He loved being outdoors' and enjoyed hiking. He dearly loved his son and family, and just hanging out with them. Surviving: mother-Carolee & Steven Saylor of South Bend; father-Robert & Crystal King of Flora; infant son-Zackery B. King and his fiance' Kayla Lindsley both of Niles, MI; sister-Chantell N. King of Claypool; paternal grandparents-Hazel & Bobby King of Monticello; maternal grandma-Brenda Howard of Lafayette; Step brother's & sister's: Jessica Sizemore of Peru, Kalie Hardesty of Flora, Matthew Sizemore of Flora, Taylor Sizemore of Flora, Wyatt Sizemore Bresee of Flora, Jessica Saylor of South Bend, Heather Saylor of Hendersonville, TN, Steve Saylor of Hendersonville, TN; Aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews also survive. Preceded in death by his twin brother Zakery King; maternal grandpa Jerry Howard. Services: Visitation will be Monday from 11am until his funeral service at 1pm at Abbott Funeral Home, Inc., Delphi. Pastor Julian Herrera officiating. Burial at IOOF Memorial Gardens, Pittsburg. Facial masks must be worn and social distancing practices must be maintained.
