Obituary

David L. Brumbaugh, 77, of rural Camden, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday-July 14, 2026, at 3:18am, at Franciscan East Hospital ER in Lafayette. David was born in Darke County, OH, to the late Henry & Anna Margaret Fisher Brumbaugh. David married Sharon M. Flora, at her parents’ home in Carroll County, on March 10, 1973, and she survives. David attended Camden School and was a farmer and raised produce in Carroll County all his life. He was a member of the Old Brethren German Baptist Church, rural Carroll County. David dearly loved his entire family. Being with them was a great joy and comfort. Surviving: wife-Sharon M. Brumbaugh of Camden, 9 daughter’s: Shirley Cline of Flora, Esther & Randy Just of Delphi, Ellen & Ryan Just of Camden, Helen & Marvin Graybill of Camden, Carol Brumbaugh of Camden, Sarah & Mark Royer of Delphi, Beth & Mahlon Bowerman of Spickard, MO, Amanda & Nelson Graybill of Camden, Deborah & Ethan Brumbaugh of Camden. 6 sons: Randy Brumbaugh of Camden, Richard & Ellie Brumbaugh of Camden, Roger & Alicia Brumbaugh of Spickard, MO, Daryl & Amy Brumbaugh of Delphi, Alvin & Emily Brumbaugh of Camden, Ezra & Laura Brumbaugh of Trenton, MO. 2 sisters: Mary Ellen Daywitt & Edith Royer of Camden. A brother Marvin & Mary Brumbaugh of Sandusky, OH. 56 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by 2 grandson’s, 1 sister, 3 brothers in law, 1 son in law. Services: David’s viewing will be at Ethan Brumbaugh’s building, 1604 W. 350 N. Camden, IN 46917, on Friday-July 17, 2026, from 1pm to 5pm, family dinner break, then 6pm to 8pm. David’s burial will be held on Saturday-July 18, 2026, at 8:30am, at the Old Brethren German Baptist Church Cemetery near Camden. His funeral Service will be at Ethan Brumbaugh’s building on Saturday, after the burial at 10:30am, with home brethren officiating.
