Darrell L. Golden, 62, of Lafayette, died Wed.-Jan. 6, 2016 at 2:56pm, at St. E East in Laf. He was born Dec. 6, 1953 in Frankfort to Sue Mann Golden, and the late John Golden. His marriage was to Kathy M. Woolridge in Lafayette, on June 4, 1993, and she survives. He was a 1973 graduate of Rossville High School. He served for 12 years in the Indiana National Guard. He formerly worked at Indiana Packers Corp.-Delphi, for 15 years, head of the receiving department. He formerly belonged to the Lafayette Moose Lodge, and was a NASCAR fan, especially driver Jeff Gordon. He liked the Chicago Cubs, and bowled on Lafayette men's league's. He enjoyed camping & fishing, and his dog Snuggles. He loved Blue Grass music, and attending those festivals. Surviving: wife-Kathy M. Golden of Lafayette; daughters: Angel & Jammie Brown of Rossville, Christina & Jeremy Reef of Cutler, Ann Miller of Lafayette; sons: Andrew & Keila Miller of Lafayette, Christopher Miller & Tami Dillon of Battle Ground; brothers: Russell Golden of Bradenton, FL, Richard Golden of Rossville, Brad & Rhonda Golden of Frankfort; sister: Peggy & Donald Miller of Bradenton, FL; mother: Sue Golden of Mulberry; mother in law: Ruth Woolridge of Delphi; 7 grandchildren. Preceded in death by a granddaughter. There will be no services at this time. A celebration of life service will take place at a later date.
