Catherine Edith Oswalt Flora, 95 of rural Carroll County, died Friday-June 9, 2017 at 11:05pm at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Center, Delphi. She had been a resident there for the past 3 years. She was born Mar 21, 1922 in Laura, OH, to the late Glen & Hettie Bower Oswalt. Her marriage was to Fred F. Flora in Darke Co., OH, on Dec 20, 1952, and he preceded her in death on Mar 7, 2010. She attended the former Franklin-Monroe School in Darke Co., OH. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed her flower & vegetable garden's, cooking, and dearly loved her family, and all of the gatherings they shared. She was a member of the Old Brethren German Baptist Church near Camden. Surviving: daughter-Marilyn & Mark Frey of Bringhurst; sons-Darrell Flora of Bradford, OH, Duane & Kim Flora of Delphi, John & Ellen Flora of Flora; sisters-Martha & Ezra Brumbaugh of Bradford, OH, Mary Brumbaugh of Camden, Ruth Diehl of Bradford, OH. 15 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by 3 sister's, 1 brother, a great grandson, daughter in law Doris Ann. Services: Friends may call Monday from 4-8pm at the Deer Creek Old German Baptist Brethren Church, Camden. Funeral service there Tuesday 10am, with Old Brethren ministry officiating. Burial at Musselman Cemetery, Camden. Prayers & thoughts may be directed to the family in lieu of flowers.
