Catherine Maye Ferrier Maiers, 74, formerly of Veedersburg, passed away Wednesday-October 1, 2025, at 5:05am, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Center in Delphi. She was born on December 21, 1950, in LaGrange, IN, to the late Herbert & Mary Jane McNabb Ferrier. Catherine attended school in LaGrange. She had worked at various restaurants and warehouses and was a jailer for the Montgomery County Sheriff's Department for 10 years and lastly worked at the Crawfordsville Walmart Optical Center. Catherine enjoyed sewing, cooking, crafts, antique's, ceramics, and refurbishing furniture. She loved baking and decorating cakes. Putting out a garden and enjoying the produce and keeping her flower gardens manicured just right. She enjoyed music, especially 70's rock and loved to dance. Surviving: son-Herbert & Nancy Ferrier of New Ross, son-Doug Bowling of Veedersburg, sister-Shirley Randall of IN, 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandson survive. Preceded in death by a daughter Catherine, a son Robert, a daughter-in-law Charmin. Private family services will be held. Burial at Jackson Prairie Cemetery, Orland, IN. Abbott Funeral Home, Inc., Delphi, is assisting the family with arrangements.
