Carolyn Jean Trapp Edging, 90, of Camden, passed away Tuesday-January 7, 2025, at 10:25am, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Center, Delphi. Carolyn was born on January 1, 1935, in Camden, to the late Harold & Ovena Randolph Trapp. Carolyn married Bernard Lowell Edging at the Lower Deer Creek Church of the Brethren, on November 21, 1954, and he preceded her in death on May 8, 1994. Carolyn was a 1953 graduate of Camden High School. She worked at the Golden Rule in Logansport, the Pettiner Agency in Camden and part time for the former Flower Shoppe in Flora.  Carolyn was a member of the Delphi Christian Church, the Christian Women's Fellowship, Aim Hi Home Ec Club, was a past Matron of the OES #475 in Camden, was a past president & board member of the Carroll County Council on Aging, the Camden Cemetery board, a member and secretary of the Camden Historic Preservation Society. She enjoyed traveling, working in her flower beds and helping others in her community.  Her greatest love was for her family. She dearly loved them all and enjoyed being together for any occasion.  Surviving: daughter-Heidi & Bob Reef of Bringhurst, son-Monty & Diane Edging of Delphi, grandchildren: Landon & Megan, Carey & Brittany, Karli & Ryan, Colin & Grace, great grandchildren: Hayden, Wade, Kerrigan and Logan, Sister-in law Mary Trapp.  Preceded in Death by, sister-Freda (Lee Wayne) Yeakley of Walton, 2 brothers Fred (Phyllis) & Herschel (Johnny) Trapp. Services: Visitation will be Saturday from 10am until her funeral service at 12:30pm at Abbott Funeral Home, Inc., Delphi.
