Bruce N. Johnson, 84, of rural Delphi, died Fri-Jan 26, 2018 at 6:25pm at his son's home, after an extended illness. He was born Sept 25, 1933 in Knoxville, TN, to the late Andrew & Ruth Phillips Johnson. His marriage was to Carol Ann White in Kokomo, in April 1957, and she preceded him in death on April 15, 1995. He was a 1951 graduate of Kokomo High School, and served 10 years in the Indiana National Guard. He worked for the Meadow Bloom Dairy in Kokomo for 15 years, and owned and operated the Dog-N-Suds' in Burlington for 2 years. He attended St. Joan of Arch Catholic Church, Kokomo. He and his family enjoyed traveling, and camping. He liked to woodwork, and enjoyed watching the Chicago Cub's. He liked to watch Western TV shows and movies. He was a people person, and enjoyed interacting with his customers and business professionals thru the years. Surviving: sons-Tom M Johnson of Indianapolis, Craig & Crystal Johnson of Delphi, Andrew "Andy" & Cynthia Johnson of Delphi. Grandchildren: Michael, Kristina, Carol, & Andrew; great grandchildren: Jace, Laycee, Alexys, & Ryland. Preceded by a grandson Jeramiah; 4 brother's; 3 sister's. Services: Friends may call Tuesday from 4pm-7pm at Abbott Funeral Home, Inc., Delphi. Private family interment at a later date. Memorial contributions to the American Kidney Foundation, envelopes available at the funeral home.
